It’s a farewell tour with more stops than John Farnham.
But Frankie Dettori is going out in style, riding winners.
His latest as part of his South American farewell this time in Uruguay.
He even produced his trademark flying dismount after guiding Soy Poronguero to a dominant victory in Uruguay.
An all the way winner for Frankie Dettori aboard Soy Poronguero at Maronas in Uruguay on the latest leg of his farewell tour. 🇺🇾
Wonder if we got a flying dismount?? 👏pic.twitter.com/SpdgG0vYkH

The legendary jockey added another chapter to his storied career at Maroñas racetrack on Tuesday, partnering with trainer Roberto Solanes for a front-running masterclass aboard the short priced favourite. Soy Poronguero surged clear in the final straight to finish comfortably.
This marks Dettori’s second win on his farewell tour after he triumphed aboard Grand Candyman in Buenos Aires last month at San Isidro, Argentina.
The final leg [or so punters are told] of his tour takes him to Brazil next month, where he will ride at Gávea racecourse in Rio de Janeiro.
