Friday night is for building bankrolls, and Dean Watling and Mitch Lewis have the blueprint.  Two elite judges, one mission: send punters into Saturday loaded.

The duo will combine their thoughts each week to produce a bet365 multi, which Betsy readers will get enhanced odds about.

Below is the multi and the lads’ best bets for both meetings.

Dean Watling’s best bet at Canterbury: Race 2 No.10 Snitzel Miss

Keen to side with the Waller-trained Snitzel Miss, she was underdone first-up off one trial but still stuck to her task behind an impressive Plaintiff. Second-up now draws well and should come on fitness wise. Jaegers was great second-up behind an impressive winner, peak fitness now third-up and gets the blinkers on but does need a smart ride to offset the draw. Miss Lola didn’t have much luck last start and looked to peak on her run over 1400m, back to 1250m is a big tick. The well-backed Lambertina rounds out the numbers but does look very short.

Mitch Lewis’ best bet at Pakenham: Race 8 No.2 Supernima

Supernima is another runner who can be an improver 2nd up. Previously has good form over the 1200m trip, especially here at Pakenham where he has a record of (3:2-1-0) at this track/distance set up. Suggest that he found the 1000m too sharp when resuming so looks better suited here today. Drawn a wide barrier but that feels no disadvantage, especially if the track is wet given it is likely runners will want to be off rails in the straight.
