It’s the race that launched Reserve Bank’s G1-winning campaign in 2025 and the Price-Kent stable will saddle multiple runners in Saturday’s Listed Redelva Stakes at Morphettville.
Last-start Morphettville placegetter She’s My Ex and Job Done, the untapped son of Snitzel that was last seen running second in the Manfred Stakes in February, will tackle the race.
Michael Kent Jnr said Job Done profiles in a similar style to Reserve Bank, who won the Redelva and the G2 Tobin Bronze Stakes en route to a stunning victory against older horses in the G1 Goodwood.
“We will have She’s My Ex, who actually remained in Adelaide since running a good second in an easier race last time,” Kent Jnr said.
“She’ll have the step up to be competitive but she deserves her chance.
“Our primary chance will be Job Done.
“He is a very progressive horse and I think he’ll be very well suited fresh and at set weights.
“He can really gallop and trialed well last week.
“He’s definitely a horse that can measure up a nice race and we’ve got the Tobin Bronze Stakes on the radar as well.”
Another of the stable’s three-year-olds that is set to head to Adelaide later this month is Space Rider, who will also be given the chance to earn his place in the G1 Goodwood.
Space Rider won the Manfred Stakes in February but was unplaced on a soft track in Sydney last month.
“We are targeting Space Rider at the Tobin Bronze fresh-up,” he said.
“He really wants good ground and he didn’t get it in Sydney.
“We’ve reset him with five weeks between the Darby Munro and the Tobin Bronze and, if he ran well, there is an option to go to the Goodwood.”
