Summary of Best Bets:
Race 5 No.7 Gin Spirit – Resuming, had issues last prep but best form should be too good.
Race 6 No.4 Stellar Mofeed (Best) – Strong first-up run, dropping in grade.
Turf Talk:
- The rail remains in the True position as it was at the previous meeting here.
- Clear weather is forecast for race day and the lead up, so the track is expected to present as a Good 4.
- The track is usually fair, but in drying conditions a small advantage goes to runners settling forward of midfield.
Stats that matter:

Race by race overview
Race 5:
GIN SPIRIT showed good talent in her two-year-old season when winning twice, including a black type race. She showed plenty of promise there but in her second campaign couldn’t find that level again and reports suggested she had some injury issues. She has spelled since and resumes here today. Her recent trials suggest she has gotten over those issues and she has the talent to be winning a race of this level.
LA ROUX looks the next key danger, with INNOCENT ENUFF and GWAN SO rounding out the main chances.
Selections:
(7) Gin Spirit
(10) La Roux
(1) Innocent Enuff
(8) Gwan So
Suggested Bet: (7) Gin Spirit (Win)
Race 6:
There are no huge spoils in the price of STELLAR MOFEED here today, who has come up short, but I can justify a bet on her at anything $1.80+. She was super when resuming at Sandown in a stronger race, running a close second. She should find this race easier and has the speed to utilise barrier 1 to race on speed and prominently in the run. She should prove hard to catch.
LULU DARLING, ZADAR SUNSET and GRACIOUS DIVA look the main dangers.
Selections:
(4) Stellar Mofeed
(2) Lulu Darling
(3) Zadar Sunset
(9) Gracious Diva
Suggested Bet: (4) Stellar Mofeed (Win)
