Race by race overview
Race 2:
ABRAHAM owes a few after recent runs, but it hasn’t entirely been his fault. He looked a great bet on the Gold Coast before a break, where the ride went wrong — pushed forward too early after covering ground without cover and still boxed on bravely. His return run this preparation was excellent and suggests he has come back well. From the draw he should be able to hold a midfield or better position and in a suitable race shape he can be strong late.
Suggested Bet: (1) Abraham (Win)
Race 3:
ENFORCEABLE caught the eye last start when all the money was for Hunter’s Mate, yet he peeled off that runner’s back and took ground off it late. There was very little between them through the line and from that run it’s easy to make a case he can turn the tables. With Lloyd likely to give him a positive steer and potentially keep the favourite in a pocket at a key stage, he looks well placed at a slightly better price and goes on top.
Suggested Bet: (6) Enforceable (Win)
