Not much speed on paper here so we may see Kilman control the speed again. I thought the run from Accidental Bid was full of merit. He was one month between runs after missing the SA Derby and travelling across four states and went clockwise for the first time. Past the post he was very strong and the extra distance is ideal. From barrier 6 he will get every chance and represents great value.

In The Lab | Kingsford Smith Cup | Group 1 WFA 1300m
Capacity field in the Kingsford Smith Cup under WFA conditions. I think the race is quite open and there are some horses that will be suited getting onto a bigger track. Skybird was taken back to last from a wide gate in the 10,000 and ran into some traffic in the home straight. She still reeled off the fastest 400 and 200 of the race with all of that trouble which is quite remarkable. Happy to be on her at odds.
