Bet Legends’ Shaun Beirne has one runner firmly in his sights at Eagle Farm, believing the market has Biancelli far too short in Race 7.
Eagle Farm Race 7 – Biancelli
Beirne agrees with the market that Race 7 shapes largely as a match race, but he has a clear top pick.
“Gram has run a new personal best at each of his past three starts and is still on a big ratings spiral,” Beirne said.
He also believes there are other runners with claims, pointing to The Pool Boy’s impressive trial and suggesting Rose Noir should be shorter in betting.
That leaves Biancelli as the runner he wants to oppose.
“There are some old peak ratings that are strong enough, but I can’t have Biancelli off what she has produced this preparation. She looks far too short.”
Biancelli has changed stables form Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr to Todd Polllard and punters are clearly putting weight in a recent Doomben trial victory.
