Rail True – Track Good
Fresh ground to the inside with the rail out in recent meetings and likely back on to a firmer deck. No disadvantage to be on speed but a fair Rosehill track expected – tempo dependant.
Race 9 – 4:20PM RACING AND SPORTS HANDICAP (1400 METRES)
Fascinating race with the return of #6 FRANZ JOSEPH off a 92 week break and the likes of #4 FLOATING off 65 weeks. Even #3 FULLY LIT hasn’t been seen since November Last year.
#6 FRANZ JOSEPH a really strong trial winner given a solid hit out. Looks ready to return but hard to trust. He’s shown ability that’s for sure.
We’re with #1 ATTICA here. Big weight but a class galloper. Trialled well on two occasions, with his first heat being better visually than his second, but he hasn’t been knocked around in either. What has been most impressive is that he is showing tactical speed. The gelding operation may have worked. He looks sharper and ready to go at a distance like this. Who could forget his win in the Group 1 Spring Champion. Backing in the stable fresh off the gelding operation.
Suggested Bet:
#1 ATTICA (WIN)
