Blackbook summary:

Heat Horse Summary
1 Roussillon Settled in well with new yard. Nice second under his own steam.
5 Twister Speedy type who won by a space under a big hold.

Heat 1 – Roussillon (2nd)

Target – Short-course BM64 with a claim

Former NSW galloper Roussillon has had two jump-outs since joining the Dan Cunningham yard. He looked good winning a Seymour jump-out on July 21 and again cruised to the line nicely under his own steam in running second. He appears to have settled into his new environment well and might be able to pick up a race or two here in Victoria.

Heat 5 – Twister (1st)

Target – Another jump-out before a 1000m Maiden

Speedy son of Nicconi who showed terrific tactical speed before cruising to the line under a huge hold to win by a space. This was Twister’s first jump-out, so I’d like to see him have another before debuting, but a 1000m Maiden around a tighter-turning track would be ideal on debut.
