Flemington Race 3 No.9 Arabian Prince ($4.00 bet365)
Was set to run in the Derby but like this option back to 1800m on a soft track. Feel they just need to land in front of 3-4 horses here and not flop out last. Should get to right part of the track and has run best L400m split in all three career runs to date. Easier than last start and runs well.
Flemington Race 4 No 10 Vangogh Bankcheque ($13 bet365)
This went nearly as good as Vestas in a trial before the debut run. Wish I’d seen that before the race as it was a moral off that and paid $4.20. Got back, got wide and savaged the line late to run the best L400m and 200m of the entire meeting. Fair effort on debut! Love the big price here.
Flemington Race 5 No.10 Golden Century ($6 bet365)
Waller has done a great job with this bloke. Has always had good ability (3rd in a NZ Derby) but he has just continued to improve this prep with racing. Has been set alight early multiple times this prep and is rock hard fit. Jumped in grade last start and ran well considering he didn’t handle Caulfield. Handles all ground, Moreira rides, and drops 5kg off the latest run.
Flemington Race 9 No.15 Surfin’ Bird ($2.60 bet365)
Don’t want to take any shorter but Dean Watling did a video about this girl and said she’d be winning this a fortnight ago. She can take a sit, get the run of the race and let down with her turn of foot. Up in grade but has a massive future. (14) Pondalowie and (2) She’s All Pizzazz can be value in exotics.

Flemington Race 10 No.8 Sabaj ($2.80 bet365)
A little unknown on wet ground but has huge upside. Was backed to beat a good one fresh and had no luck. Will improve sharply and just needs a good Zahra ride as the inside won’t be the place to be. Finished last prep as runner up in a Group 2 race and feel he will surpass that this prep.
