Race 1:
Good little race to kick off proceedings. I was quietly impressed by the debut trial of Midnight Moose, albeit finishing sixth of seven in the Canberra heat, her work late was sharp. She has now backed that up with a solid piece of work this prep at Corowa when leading all the way in solid time. Maps well and looks the one to beat. Classic Touch is the danger, smart debut SP when not handling the heavy deck. No official trials leading in though, so we will lean on the market late. Closethedoordarcy and Entirely Oak are next best.
