Favourites win plenty of races. But the real thrill, and often the real value, lies in finding the one the market hasn’t fully caught up with.
Betsy’s Bolters, proudly supported by Unibet, is our weekly search for punting gold. We dive deep into the replays, sectionals and market profiles to uncover runners flying under the radar, horses sitting at double-figure odds but with far more upside than their price suggests.
These aren’t wild darts. They’re calculated swings at big prices.

Canterbury – Mitch Lewis
Race 2 No.8 Royal Chic ($18/$3.50)
(8) Royal Chic resumes today and looks well set up in these conditions with a light weight and favourable race map. Her two best career runs came on wet tracks, so expect her to be capable of handling the conditions.
Will Elford – Caulfield
Race 6 No.13 Tolpuddle ($13/$3.60)
(13) Tolpuddle has been beaten for speed in two runs this campaign, but he is much better suited at 1500 metres and can improve sharply. He has won twice from three starts at this track, and with a short break and a jump-out between runs, this looks very intentional. Mark Zahra taking the ride is another plus.
