Race 1
Keen to kick off the program with the unraced galloper (11) Waveton for Sara Ryan. She looked very sharp in her only 845m trial when eased down late and maps to get a lovely run from the draw on debut against what looks a very exposed field.
(2) Blue Suede Hooves is the danger and should land on speed and give a strong kick.
(7) Thunder Lights maps well from the draw and peaks third-up but does need to improve.
(3) Cosmora rounds out the numbers.

Good race, this.
Keen to side with (3) Senjutsu first-up for the Baker stable. He showed signs of plenty of talent last preparation and has trialled up like a different horse this time in. With some of the speed coming out of the race he should be able to roll forward and prove hard to beat.
(8) Lighthouse Lass is the danger after being shuffled back first-up before hitting the line strongly behind the subsequent city winner, Mercy Me. Sticky gate but she will be charging late.
(6) Seastraand and (10) Miles Of Glory go in the mix, both bringing smart ratings with Miles Of Glory trialling well leading in.

We head to Hawkesbury for another heat of the Racing NSW Provincial Midway Championship Qualifier.
It’s a strong field but (2) Matcha Latte looks the clear standout after back-to-back impressive efforts in recent weeks and should find this class a step easier. From gate six he maps to get the ideal 1-1 run and looks the horse to beat.
(7) Just In Time is the danger and can win with a perfect soft track profile (3 from 3). The map is sticky but she should be charging home late.
(9) Miss Busslinger maps to land just off the speed and will strip fitter second-up from the freshen, while the soft track suits.
(1) Cryptonic rounds out the numbers and is going better than his form suggests with blinkers going on.
