Racing NSW will begin a search for a new head of Integrity after Michael Cleaver resigned this week, as he heads overseas.
Cleaver has been the Operations Manager of Integrity at Racing NSW for the past two years after joining the racing regulator from the NSW Police where he was a senior prosecutor.
He has recently led some of the high-profile cases, including the improper conduct disqualification of leading trainer John O’Shea.
Cleaver was also at the forefront when Racing NSW undertook financial checks on trainers before re-licencing them, which included an embarrassing bungle email, where 115 trainers were included on one email chain asking for further financial details.
