In The Lab | Tatt’s Tiara | Group 1 F&M 1400m
Pace appears even with Poster Girl, Midnight in Tokyo and Gerringong pushing across from wide draws. Manaal looks a major contender in this year’s Tattersall’s Tiara and appears to be peaking at the right time. The talented mare has consistently measured up at Group 1 level throughout her career and brings a strong turn of foot that is ideally suited to the 1400m at Eagle Farm. Her recent form has been solid and was luckless last start, she maps to enjoy a favourable run from her draw and meets this race with race fitness on her side. Her form second up is 5:3-1-0, on soft she’s 4:2-1-0 and at the distance 6: 2-1-1. On ratings, she has to do 104.1 and has run that figure or better five times previously.
