Race 4 – 3:11PM Manhari BM56 Handicap (1000 METRES)
#11 TANGOETTE is the runner that has caught our eye. She has had two jump-outs this campaign. She won the first comfortably at Terang before going head-to-head with Wrote To Arataki (subsequent Stakes winner at Caulfield) in her recent Camperdown hit-out.
She was able to lead and win first-up over 1100m at Hamilton last campaign and she’s ideally set up to do the same here, potentially even better suited at 1000m. Love the booking of Linda Meech who does a lot of riding for the stable and it doesn’t look a race with significant tempo.
#10 SIMPLY SASSY will probably want further but has jumped-out nicely for this return. #8 TOO DARN CRYSTAL didn’t have a lot of luck at Werribee fresh but had jumped-out nicely prior for the new stable.
