Southside Racing takes over the Spring Carnival on Saturday with the running of the Cranbourne Cup meeting.

The day has been enhanced in recent times with the Cranbourne Cup at $500K prizemoney and the slot race ‘The Meteorite’ at $1 million over 1200m.

Below is the list of the 2025 Slot Holders for the richest country sprint race

Exciting galloper Sabaj will feature in the Cranbourne Cup after his terrific win at Flemington over the Melbourne Cup week. He will joined by Damien Oliver winner Warnie and Sale Cup winner El Rocko.

Beau Mertens has been locked in to ride Sabaj, whilst in form Ethan Brown rides Warnie.

Group 1 Racing heads to Perth with the running of the Railway Stakes. Long time all-in market favourite Cosmic Crusader will need luck to make the field at the minute, after he missed out on winning the golden ticket in via yesterday’s R.J Peters Stakes won by Storyville.

Osipenko, Depth Of Character and Iowna Merc run for the Eastern state raiders.

Billy Egan flies over to ride Western Empire and Fred Kersley Jnr is booked for Storyville.
16 horses will face the starter in Saturday’s race.
