Turf Talk
- The track is currently rated a Good 4 with overcast conditions forecast. We will be monitoring conditions closely as there is potential it plays closer to a Soft 5 once the runners chop it up a bit.
- The rail pushes out from the previous meeting and will be +2.5 metres from the 1200m to the 400m, true for the remainder.
- Expect runners to come towards the middle of the track in the straight, generally giving a slight advantage to those settling forward of midfield.

Race by race overview
Race 3
(2) Stylish Flipper resumes for his second career preparation having contested some handy maiden races last prep before finishing with a strong win at Murray Bridge. Since the break he appears to have returned in excellent order with a sharp trial win and, from a favourable map, should get every chance.
(4) Noise By Nature dropped in grade last start and was well supported but may have had excuses after failing to handle the Oakbank track. He returns fresh here, remains down in grade and can bounce back strongly.
(3) Taken To Task showed good speed to win on debut at Naracoorte. This is a rise in class but he maps well again and can measure up with the right run.
(9) Miss Sghirripa resumes at her home track where she recorded her only career win. Recent trials have been good and she drops in grade, making her a strong chance if she can transfer that form to race day.
Selections:
(2) Stylish Flipper
(4) Noise By Nature
(3) Taken To Task
(9) Miss Sghirripa
Suggested Bet: (2) Stylish Flipper WIN
Race 7
(2) Divine Fire showed sharp improvement last start when running a close second. He now looks ready to peak third-up rising to 1600m, a trip where he has enjoyed success previously. Down in grade and drawn ideally in barrier 2, he gets the perfect setup.
(9) Morlaix backs up quickly after a solid effort in a stronger race at Gawler on Wednesday. He can settle closer from barrier 3 and should give another strong sight.
(6) Casino Showgirl looks ready for the rise to 1600m after hitting the line strongly at her latest outing.
(11) Affaire Vue has drawn wide but possesses good gate speed and should press forward early. She drops in grade from recent runs which could spark improvement.
Selections:
(2) Divine Fire
(9) Morlaix
(6) Casino Showgirl
(11) Affaire Vue
Suggested Bet: (2) Divine Fire WIN
