The quaddie remains one of racing’s most popular bets and this Saturday the Betsy team is taking it on from every corner of the country.
Matt Welsh (Victoria), Blair Gibson (Queensland) and Mitch Lewis (South Australia/NSW) have each mapped out their best play for the final four races at their respective metropolitan meetings, combining form, speed maps and value to build their tickets.
Whether you’re looking to follow one state, play them all, or simply compare how the experts are attacking the day, we’ve got your Saturday quaddies covered.
Queensland (Eagle Farm) | Blair Gibson
Big fields and even races at Eagle Farm often result in a healthy dividend, especially on a big day of Group 1 action. Taking my top four selections in each leg and hoping we can inject some value along the way. Best of luck, punters.
New South Wales (Rosehill) | Mitch Lewis
Doesn’t feel like a quaddie that will have a huge result so trying to keep it trim and the best way to do that was to have our best bet of the day THEBUDGIESMUGLA one out in the 2nd leg. The 1st & 3rd legs look the ones that potentially give us the value but today is all about leg 2.
Victoria (Sandown) | Matt Welsh
Really tough quaddie! Could even go wider, but have tried to trim up as much as possible. Rain during the meeting could well play a part. Keep an eye on track pattern and adjust accordingly.
South Australia (Murray Bridge) | Mitch Lewis
Looks a tougher quaddie here today for finding value. Had to tighten up the middle legs to make it affordable so if we can get through to the last we should have confidence and this is where we can find our value if we land.
