Bet Type Race Selection
Best Bet R6 No.3 Dancing Storm
Next Best R7 No.1 Allegedly

Track

  • Track is rated at a Good 4 currently but there is a forecast for rain to hit the track through the meeting, if the expected rain does come there is a chance the track gets into the Soft range at some point.
  • The rail +3m W/Post – 1200m & True the remainder
  • Expect a fair track in current conditions, generally don’t want to be too far back at the top of the straight and watching for rain, if the rain falls expect the inside lanes in the straight to be inferior.

Stats

  • Jake Toeroek returned from injury yesterday at Morphettville Parks and has previously had a good record here at Strathalbyn with a winning strike rate of 16.7% from 420 rides at a steady POT of +5.3%, he will saddle up on one of the favourites for today’s feature race.

Race 6 No.3 Dancing Storm

Dancing Storm has been consistent this prep but yet to breakthrough for a win, but this is a solid drop down in grade for him which should bring him on. He hit the line strongly last time out reeling off the 3rd fastest L600m of the meeting so the rise here to the 1350m now looks ideal with the drop down in grade. If rain was to come prior to this race that would suit so conditions should be no issue.

Race 7 No.1 Allegedly

Allegedly went around at big odds last start when rising in grade at Morphettville Parks and that run had more merit to it than his finishing position suggests. He will be suited back in level though, but more importantly back onto his home track where he has an incredible record. He has had 8 starts here at Strathalbyn and missing the top 3 in only one of those races which includes a record of 4:2-0-1 over this track/distance set up.
