Randwick Race 5 No.1 MEMO $5.50

This horse and Grand Eagle have taken on the big guns while Young Mister Grace, Skyglider and Miss Freelove are untapped and could be improvers. I just can’t go past the last start effort of MEMO at the Valley. Checked on the corner, changed paths at the 100m and still nearly won. Maps well from the gate and think class will carry her a long way.

Moonee Valley Race 3 No.12 TRES MAGNIFIQUE $6

With the boss Welshy here. This filly has very good upside. Winner on debut and then went back to last at Caulfield and threw her head around for the first 2/3’s of the race. Looked for runs in the straight and only got out late where she was good through line. As long as they can make ground out wide she has the ability to swoop over the top of these late for sure.

Moonee Valley Race 9 No.1 OBSERVER $2

Not being that brave here but he just looks a good one in the making. The Guineas form looks to be the strong form and easy to make a case he should have won or gone very close. Checked and lost all momentum at a crucial time. Should get a good run for a good jock and hard to find a knock.
