Turf Talk:
- Doomben was very kind to us last weekend and has the rail out 11m for this Friday meeting.
- If the weather stays fine it may well play to the front.
- That’s the way I’d be doing form early in the meeting and watch closely through the day to see if you can make ground.

Has been very consistent without winning. Just 3 wins from 33 runs is the concern. With the outside draw I would hope they come out positive and land first four settling. Looked the winner and just outgunned in the fight late last start. Gets another very good chance to win again here, just how much does he want it late?
Race 6 Win #6 ROMANTIC BUBBLE $4.60 and Place #5 MOONAN QUARTZ $7.25
Both these horses were enormous last start. Come from different races but both drifted back before rolling forward and being three-wide no cover the whole way. Both fought on a lot better than I’d have anticipated in the run. Hoping they make the decision early to push forward this time and both could run particularly well if they get across easy enough. Worth a penny, Moonan Quartz, at $31 a win also.
