Race by race overview
Race 1:
Victorian visitor (2) Presser sets up well for this race as he drops in grade from recent runs and remains at his best distance over 1600m, mapping for a soft run from barrier 2.
(1) Bamyan Buddha has found good recent form with a win and a close second in his last two runs and is at his best when pushing forward to control the tempo.
Outside of him, (6) Chakado looks the only other runner with genuine early speed and could prove hard to catch if given a soft run in front.
