Sandown Race 5 – Stupendous ($7.50)
Stupendous got too far back from a wider draw first up here at Sandown but got home strongly in a race dominated on speed. With regular rider Logan Bates back in the saddle and from a good draw today, expect her to settle much closer up tot he mile.
There is no speed in this race and on her normal pattern Stupendous can control the tempo and prove awfully hard to get past late – the $7.50 on offer appeals greatly.
