Turf Talk:
- Rail true – expect an even track.
- On the Soft 5, lanes 2+ in the straight look the sweet spot.

- Over the past 90 days Jason Collett is striking at a massive 25.7% with a positive POT of +21.5%.
- John Sargent is the stable to follow over the past 90 days up to $10SP, striking at 26.1% with an impressive POT of +15.2%. Effective with runners first and second up.
Race 1
Cracking maiden to kick off proceedings. (9) Miles Of Glory, (3) Napoleonic and (2) Andale Andale all come out of the Trial Files black book. Of the three, (9) Miles Of Glory looks very well placed first up at juicy odds. The daughter of I Am Invincible has trialled up well and looks suited on a firm track. (3) Napoleonic has smart form around King Of Pop and Next-Gen from last prep, James booked first up, but has come up very short in the market ($2.00). (2) Andale Andale has been withdrawn on race morning, we will keep this galloepr in the back pocket for next week.
(9) Miles Of Glory
(3) Napoleonic
(2) Ironheart
(6) Polo
Suggested Bet – Miles Of Glory WIN
Race 5
Intriguing BM68 over the 1200m. The first-up win of (3) Shirvington rated through the roof – plenty of merit when posted wide and asked to sustain a run. The form has been franked with Johnny running a big figure in his next start at the midweeks. (5) Bodhi Boy looks the only danger, with back-to-back wins before a failure at metro grade. The query is the dry deck. Outside of that, (7) Full Metal Jacket could run into the placings at odds.
(3) Shirvington
(5) Bodhi Boy
(7) Full Metal Jacket
(9) Manage The Cycle
Suggested Bet – Shirvington WIN
R6 – Wyong Cup
Fascinating edition. The top three in the market – (4) Saltcoats, (1) Alalcance and (3) Nellie Laylax – look to be the only winning hopes. (4) Saltcoats’ wheels spun last start on the heavy as (3) Nellie Laylax skipped away to win well. Back to a firmer track from a perfect gate should see (4) Saltcoats bounce back. (1) Alalcance always looks plain at the trials but produces on race day – 2100m fresh is ideal, and with 61kg expect Hyeronimus to roll forward. The query with (3) Nellie Laylax is whether she can replicate her form back to a dry deck.
(4) Saltcoats
(1) Alalcance
(3) Nellie Laylax
(5) Glory Daze
Suggested Bet – No Bet
R7 – Group 3 Mona Lisa Stakes
The feature to round out the card. (8) Just Feelin’ Lucky goes on top – she rose sharply through the grades last prep, ending with a Listed win in Brisbane. Maps ideally in the big field and much better placed second up on a dry deck. (12) Tulsi still needs scratchings to get a run but is a huge price and worth respecting – smart first-up effort last prep and flying at the trials. (10) Asgarda also looks overlooked by the market, with the Sargent yard flying and her fresh record strong. The fresh trio – (6) Verona Rose, (3) Snow In May and (5) Churchill Choice – all have claims.
(8) Just Feelin’ Lucky
(12) Tulsi
(10) Asgarda
(6) Verona Rose
(3) Snow In May
(5) Churchill Choice
