Trial 1 – OPEN TRIAL (1050 METRES)
Star studded trial with Airman proving too sharp and too strong, showing a smart turn of foot and winning this before being eased down through the line. Convinced he has come back in fantastic order.
No knock on Givemethebeatboys, Joliestar, Stefi Magnetica, Ameena.
Actually loved the way Golden Rose favourite Nepotism trialled, working home along the inside and charging through the line. Looks to be in fantastic order.

Trial 12 – CLASS 1 & MAIDEN TRIAL (740 METRES)
Big watch on Perfect Apple after a brilliant trial this time in. Put away after one run last campaign, finishing fifth behind Autumn Boy. Looks to have come back in superb order, working through between runners and winning this trial emphatically. Nice turn of foot and looks to have gone to another level. Following.

Trial 5 – OPEN TRIAL (790 METRES)
Loved the trial here by Pier, who is a lightly raced 6YO gelding with a very good career record. Talented New Zealand galloper who went to Queensland in the winter and claimed a listed race at Eagle Farm beating Sibaaq by a huge margin. Clearly talented, holding a bit of residual fitness and he hasn’t gone backwards if this trial is anything to go by.
