Race 1

1900m maiden to kick things off after a break at Canterbury. (3) Decalogue drops back from G2 grade and returns to 1900m, maps ideally from barrier 1 and should lead, always a positive here. (6) Scoop The Pool gets James McDonald and comes through a strong Newcastle race; up to 1900m suits from a perfect draw. (5) Sarapo and (2) Crusader Voyage have similar profiles, with Crusader Voyage offering slightly more upside.

Selections:
3 Decalogue
6 Scoop The Pool
5 Sarapo
2 Crusader Voyage

Suggested Bet: Not Bet

Race 2

Keen on (3) Cold Gin second prep after a long break; sharp in a recent trial beating a smart one and maps to land in the first four. (7) Simply Unique has trialled well but may get back from a sticky draw.  (4) Events looks short in the market given the favours last start. (9) Yattazou looks next best first up.

Selections:
3 Cold Gin
7 Simply Unique
4 Events
9 Yattazou

Suggested Bet: Cold Gin WIN

Race 3

Bigger field where runs in transit matter. (3) Graffiti Tycoon was solid on debut despite a poor run; fitter now and draws inside to be positive early. (11) Loera can be aggressive from the gate and should land closer. (1) Adenauer is the best roughie, strong trials for his return. (7) Salt Spray will get back but can charge late at odds.

Selections:
3 Graffiti Tycoon
11 Loera
1 Adenauer
7 Salt Spray

Suggested Bet: Graffiti Tycoon WIN

Race 4

Another 1900m event. (6) Oso Spirit gets the nod, good fresh win, forgive last start at 1600m, now up in trip third up. (2) Wrathful charged late last start and looks ready for 1900m with James aboard. (3) Cap Saint Martin may improve if ridden more positively. (1) I Am The Empire is next best fresh.

Selections:
6 Oso Spirit
2 Wrathful
3 Cap Saint Martin
1 I Am The Empire

Suggested Bet: Not Bet

Race 5

Waterhouse/Bott hold the key. (5) Superfabulistic looks set up perfectly third up and should have won last start; peaks now and likely leads. (3) Spanish Artist had every chance last time and looks short but must be respected. (7) Chispa and (1) Erin Jo both map well and get top jockeys.

Selections:
5 Superfabulistic
3 Spanish Artist
7 Chispa
1 Erin Jo

Suggested Bet: Superfabulistic EW

Race 6

(3) Winston Hills goes on top, strong fresh profile and much better suited on dry ground. (5) Man Of Worth is the danger but short enough; best figures suggest further suits. (2) Sonofdec has trialled like he is ready to fire fresh. (8) Mogwai maps well from inside with a claim.

Selections:
3 Winston Hills
5 Man Of Worth
2 Sonofdec
8 Mogwai

Suggested Bet: Not Bet

Race 7

Open race. (1) The Face gets a nice run from the gate with the claim. (5) Xpresso has been well backed and maps perfectly. (13) Dear Jewel is consistent but needs to lift. (8) Against The Law looks a likely improver 3rd up.

Selections:
1 The Face
5 Xpresso
13 Dear Jewel
8 Against The Law

Suggested Bet: Not Bet

Race 8

Keen to bet here. Happy to oppose (8) Blitzgal from the wide draw at Canterbury. (2) Supermassive returns off a spell with strong trials and maps to land on speed, key.  (5) Blitzgal won nicely on debut and looks progressive. (4) Show Business is next best.

Selections:
2 Supermassive
8 Rajwa
5 Blitzgal
4 Show Business

Suggested Bet: Supermassive WIN
