Impressive first trial back by this 3yo gelding. He showed ability in his first trial prep before failing on debut. He looked strong on the bridle in this 800m hit-out and will likely have another trial now.

Truce – Scott Singleton (Reece Jones)
Scone H6 900m – Oct 29
Unraced 4yo mare, she sat on speed in this first trial back this prep, extending well to the line in first gear. Look for her to have another trial now before heading to the races.

Storm Capital – Nikki Pollock (Chelsea Hillier)
Scone H7 900m – Oct 29
Solid trial form out of this, loved the last 200m and work through the line. Ex-Victorian galloper who can aim up here in country NSW for sure. Winner of this trial has since won fresh too which is always ideal.

Snitzel Miss – Chris Waller (Jason Collett)
Warwick Farm H6 821m – Oct 31
I have a lot of time for this filly. She was a late blooming 2yo who mixed form with Within The Law and Tempted. She looked set for a big spring before having a setback. She now returns to the trials with 36 weeks between runs and her first trial back, kept very quiet but looked strong. Second trial now before heading back to the races.

Our Lady Peace – Gary Portelli (Ashley Morgan)
Warwick Farm H14 815m – Oct 31
Loved the look of this filly in this 815m trial, she trucked along strongly on the bridle going to the line untested. Strong past the post and looks ready for another trial now. Time was only fair, look for a stronger time in the next trial.

Capdiva – Gary Portelli (Tyler Schiller)
Warwick Farm H15 815m – Oct 31
Very fast overall time here, liked the way this bloke sat on speed, absorbed the pressure before pulling away late and through the line. Look for a second hit-out now.

Andarna – R & L Price (Brock Ryan)
Kembla Grange H13 780m – Nov 5
Stylish first trial by this 2yo Farnan filly. She sat back relaxed in this heat before coming off heels and finishing over the top very impressively. Strength through the line and does have some size about her. Nice type.

Pyrolysis – Bjorn Baker (Dylan Gibbons)
Rosehill H4 1030m – Nov 5
Back-to-back impressive front-running trials by this filly. She showed talent in her first prep with some solid enough form lines. Loved her action in this trial as well as the fast time, ready to head back to the races now.

Welcome Advice – Chris Waller (Sam Clipperton)
Rosehill H11 900m – Nov 5
Sneaky good first trial by this 3yo unraced filly. She sat at the rear under a hard hold before wanting to attack the line late back to the inside. Strong past the post and looks to have gears.

Litigate – Ryan & Alexiou (Jay Ford)
Rosehill H12 900m – Nov 5
Quiet first trial before a very sharp second hit-out in fast time. Debuted in a very strong race behind Agarwood when starting $6, looks to have matured well and is ready to break her maiden now.

Free And Fast – A & S Freedman (Tommy Berry)
Randwick H5 1045m – Nov 7
Impressive trial here by the well-bred son of Wootton Bassett. He was kept very quiet in the early stages of the trial before working well back to the inside late. This was over 1045m, likely another trial before heading to the races.

Jet – Waterhouse & Bott (Regan Bayliss)
Randwick H7 1045m – Nov 7
Gelded into this prep and looks to be a lot more switched on, always showed talent in his trials but didn’t always apply himself. Back-to-back solid trials and is ready to head to the races.

Sylph – Michael Freedman (Tommy Berry)
Randwick H8 1045m – Nov 7
Always had a lot of time for this filly, she has elite form lines all around her but has always found one better. She looks back in terrific order and will break the maiden first up. Nice filly.

Bella Montagna – Waterhouse & Bott (Regan Bayliss)
Randwick H1 1200m – Nov 7
Solid first trial off the back of a last start G2 failure, backed it up with an even more impressive second trial over 1200m when running right through the line late under solid riding. Ready to head back to the races, in for a nice prep.

Yorkshire – O’Shea & Charlton (Zac Lloyd)
Randwick H4 1045m – Nov 7
He looks to have come back super, strung up in his first trial before exploding away in his latest 1045m trial. He is down to run in the 1300m Hunter this weekend and will be a strong chance.

Movie Night – O’Shea & Charlton (Sam Clipperton)
Randwick H13 740m – Nov 7
Outstanding debut trial in a very strong heat, fast overall time too. Loved the way this 3yo filly sat back before weaving a passage late in second gear, through the line she was very strong too. All very nice signs.
