Morphettville Parks – Saturday, November 29

TOBIKKO (R2 1000m Maiden)

Only really keen to be following the one runner out of this meeting, TOBIKKO. He was on debut here and always mapped to get an awkward run when jumping from barrier 12. He found himself out the back early in the run which can be a tough position to come from on the Parks track. In the straight he has made ground quickly on the field while running between horses peeling off the fastest L600m & L400m sectionals of the entire meeting, next up with a better map and up in distance should suit.

Trial & Jump-out eye-catchers

Morphettville 25/11

Jump-out 3 – CALADAN

CALADAN showed good talent in his last preparation when winning twice in a row. This looked a solid hit out for him on the path back to the races, he showed good early speed to find a forward position before another runner looked to take up the running, when asked CALADAN looked to have a good response and ran through the line strongly.

Jump-out 7– BREAKFAST

BREAKFAST will resume this campaign as a 3YO filly and still as a maiden runner. Thought this looked a very nice piece of work, particularly late where she strode past the rest of the field with ease and stretched out well to put a few lengths on them quickly. This was only over the 600m so she certainly has improvement to come over more ground with that turn of foot.
