(7) Morlaix has run into the placings in her last four starts and a win appears close. She has not had the easiest of runs in her last couple, but jumps from barrier 1 here today, which may see her settle closer in the run and get a better chance late.
(9) Enlist has been competitive in similar races in his last few starts. Jumping from barrier 2 should see him land in a good position early in the run.
Respect (1) Wild Willy here at Penola as he has a good record at this track and is down in grade. If he finds his best he will go close.

(1) Over The Edge looks better suited here today dropping down to an easier race than what he contested in his last start. He sets up well from barrier 2 and looks likely to settle in a strong position.
(3) Commander Meroo resumes here. He is slightly down in grade from some of last prep’s runs and has raced well here previously, though may need luck from the wide barrier.
(10) Poetic Whisper makes her debut for a new stable and may find this a touch easier than her last few races.
(2) Forever Waiting has a good record at this distance and at this track, gets in light at the weights and sets up well.
