ATC facing administration

Racing NSW issued a Show Cause to the Australian Turf Club to explain why it should not be put into administration on Friday, citing a decade of financial and corporate mismanagement.

The Club will be given two weeks to reply to the Show Cause, which calls into question the actions of its board for the past 10 years.

It comes after a week where chief executive Matt Galanos was fired on Monday and directors Ben Bayot and Natalie Hewson resigned on Thursday.
