There doesn’t appear to be a great deal of speed in this race, which potentially gives (3) Count Of Toulouse an opportunity to push up from barrier 1 and settle near the front in running. He was slightly unlucky last start but hit the line strongly to run a close third. This race looks no harder and he gets a better set-up.
(2) Bit Of Shoosh was an easy winner last start in a lower grade and steps back up in level today, but looks suited at this distance having hit the line strongly last start. (8) Hotinhere looks ready for the rise in distance third-up into the prep, and expect her to be strong late. (5) Grand Sage ran well to win a similar race to this last start and is capable of a repeat performance, but the wide barrier makes it tougher.

Race 8
(7) Saluted resumes. She was a winner first-up last prep before contesting stronger races, and this looks a good kick-off race for her. She had a wide barrier, but with scratchings she comes into a much better spot now and sets up well.
(4) Cabriole was a big winner as a short-priced favourite in maiden grade and now looks to take a step up in level. He sets up well with a favourable map here in a race that has most of the speed coming from out wide, and he gets the softer run jumping from barrier 3. (6) Normandy Lass drops in grade for this and that can help her find improvement on her last-start run. (2) Riproar is similar in that he is dropping in grade, which should help him improve. He will be hitting the line strongly over this shorter trip.
