Dean Watling’s best bet at Randwick: Race 2 No.13 Snitzel Miss
Snitzel Miss has run into a couple of smart ones this prep, she peaks fitness-wise fourth up and gets in very well at the weights with the claim. On top. Makhachev did a good job on her before peaking on the run late, back to 1200m is a positive here second up. Portofini returns gelded this prep off the back of a disappointing debut prep. Smart trials and gets Lloyd in the saddle. Performance stuck on well fresh when beaten by a smart one, strips fitter and can improve.
Mitch Lewis’ best bet at Morphettville: Race 5 No.2 Creek
(2) Creek has been a tough follow for punters recently, but surely today has to be the day for him with the rise up in distance and dropping slightly in grade. This set up should give him every chance if he is genuine. (1) Speedtail drops in grade from recent runs at metro level. He has performed well at the parks track previously so gets an ideal set up today. (7) Sea Of Lights was well in the market in her last start and she looked to be coming on in the straight, but faded over the concluding stages of the race, dropping back to the 1400m trip should suit.(5) All Too Mysti was disappointing last start but peaks in fitness here, a rise up to the 1400m and dropping a touch in grade could see her find the required improvement.
