Ice Kool (David Pfieffer, Tommy Berry)

Solid first trial with the form standing up before an exceptional strong second trial over the 900m in smart time. He has returned gelded which looks to be the making of him. Ready for the races now where he will take a power of beating.

Lord Remlap (Scott Singleton, Winona Costin)

Lovely return trial by this well bred gelding. He showed plenty of talent in his debut trial before something went amiss in his second trial. Nineteen weeks off and looked sharp in this 900m piece of work. Look for a second hit out now.

Wootten It Be Nice (R and A Archibald, Ellen Hennessy)

Some debut trial this. Do not worry about the overall time as this 3yo filly was hard held the entire trial; still solid enough. She trucked up and went on past her rivals in first gear. Lovely piece of work. Ready for the races now.

Move She Can (Rodney Northam, Chelsea Hillier)

Impressive return trial by this mare. She has a decent enough record already but looking at the company she aimed up against here and the way she attacked the line she has come back better. Look for another trial now.

Spice Alley (Rob Potter, Caitlin Sinclair)

Solid debut trial by this 4yo mare. Sole heat on the morning so we do not have anything to compare to, but we will trust the eye.

Ninja (Michael Freedman, Andrew Adkins)

Smart overall time. I have always liked this bloke. He’s been gelded and has definitely furnished physically leading into this preparation which is key. He has smart form lines from last prep around Pictor and Grand Prairie. Keen to bet first up.

Livin’ Thing (O’Shea and Charlton, Zac Lloyd)

Backed up a smart first trial. Solid overall time and screams progressive at me. He has a versatile pattern and looks up and going at the perfect time of year to put some wins together.

Infusion (Peter Snowden, Tommy Berry)

Going as good if not better than Livin’ Thing. He has come through the same trials looking sharp in his work without much effort at all. Both times have been solid and of the two he has the most upside.

Cellarmaster (O’Shea and Charlton, Zac Lloyd)

Improved second trial by this now gelded 3yo. He was given a very easy time of it in his first hit out before a much stronger trial here. We know he gets over a trip and will look well placed over 1300 to 1400m first up.

Lady Tassort (Waterhouse and Bott, Regan Bayliss)

Always shown ability at the trials but is yet to make it to the races. Smart first trial back for the preparation and will only improve off this in her second hit out.

Raskol (Peter Snowden, Tom Sherry)

Comes through the same heat as Lady Tassort. Time wasn’t there but she was kept very quiet in this heat. She showed plenty of ability last prep without making it to the races. Look for another trial now before making her debut.

Graffiti Tycoon (O’Shea and Charlton, Andrew Adkins)

Solid overall time. Debut trial by this son of Written Tycoon. Ridden off speed before punching a tough gap in the straight and extending away well. Look for his second trial now.

Farnished (Waterhouse and Bott, Regan Bayliss)

Comes through the same trial as Graffiti Tycoon. Second trial for the prep, somewhat strange to see him kept over the 737m in his second trial but it was a typical second trial for the camp. A touch flatter after a fresh and stylish first trial. Ready for the races now.

Shangri La Spring (Waterhouse and Bott, Tim Clark)

Mid prep trial after being trapped wide in the Golden Eagle and knocking up. Before that he was only beaten 2.7L in the Silver Eagle behind Linebacker. He is down for the 2000m ATC Cup this weekend at $17.
