Warwick Farm – Heat 5 (790m) – Sept 4
Taxation — Joseph Pride (James McDonald)
Second preparation for this well-bred 3YO filly, out of the G3 Widden winner Amercement and a half to Red Card. She was given a typical Pride trial, out the back before finding the line sharply and working past the post well. She’s a big, rangy type — keen to see a second trial.
Rosehill – Heat 2 (790m) – Sept 4
Our Queen — Bjorn Baker (Tim Clark)
Smart second trial win by this untapped 5YO mare, sharp last 600m by the new addition to the Baker yard with the overall time a touch slow due to the soft nature of the first 430m. She looks to have matured beautifully from the 29 weeks off, keen to be with her this prep.
Warwick Farm – Heat 4 (790m) – Sept 4
Flying For Fun — Bryce Heys (Zac Lloyd)
Established mare now with some smart Listed and G3 efforts last prep around Autumn Glow, Enriched and She’s Got Pizzazz. Impressive first trial back when making up swift ground. Fitness peaked late, I expect her to come on strongly now into her second trial.
Warwick Farm – Heat 3 (790m) – Sept 4
Beadman — Peter Snowden (James McDonald)
Eye-catching first trial back by the son of Snitzel. He was last seen putting up 8L on his rivals in a Listed race at the Gold Coast. Golden Rose, Everest or a Coolmore?
Speedy mare Sparklenglitter leads all the way in a Warwick Farm trial on Thursday, running 45.82 for the 790m, beating Headley Grange and Braveheart with Beadman a close fourth. @tabcomau pic.twitter.com/y4ka0H2Ggp

Warwick Farm – Heat 5 (790m) – Sept 4
Pier — Darryn & Briar Weatherley (Andrew Calder)
Trial of the morning. This lightly raced 6YO has had 12 weeks off after running 3rd in the BRC Sprint before winning a Listed 1600m contest at Eagle Farm. One 790m trial back when showing off an outstanding turn of speed to round up all of his rivals. In for a massive spring.
Rosehill – Heat 1 (1000m) – Sept 9
Briasa — M, W & J Hawkes (Tyler Schiller)
The best I’ve seen Briasa trial. The most exciting part was the tactical presence he showed, putting himself straight on the bunny before extending away dynamically late. He’s come back better.
1⃣ Briasa
2⃣ Marhoona
3⃣ EnrichedEasy work for the #TABEverest contender and @G1TySchil in a 1000m trial at Rosehill on Tuesday. Also trialling were Light Infantry Man, More Felons, Firestorm and Unspoken. @tabcomau pic.twitter.com/z7qfmnVdr9

Rosehill – Heat 4 (1030m) – Sept 9
Dance To The Boom — Bjorn Baker (Rachel King)
I suspect this mare went to the races slightly underdone fitness-wise after all the wet weather recently. She was brave first-up but sent straight back to the trials running slick time. She looks a bet second up.
