She’s a fast mare, but even by her standards #6 BALLYNACALLY has jumped-out super heading into this prep. She’s won heats at both Terang and Camperdown, doing it all under her own steam with Linda Meech aboard each time. Meech has partnered her at her past three starts and they look a perfect combination.
Fresh, she looks primed to run a big race. From gate four in a race with enough speed, she doesn’t need to lead – especially if the strong northerly is playing a role. She proved two starts back at this track over 1200m that she’s just as comfortable camping behind the pace.
