| Heat | Horse | Summary |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Private Harry | Undefeated boom horse back at the trials. Cruised around showing speed and was too quick. Everything you wanted to see ahead of an Everest tilt. |
| 1 | Port Lockroy | Group 1 Railway winner back in work. Balanced and in good order, liked the way he found the line. |
| 2 | Fire Star | Won both trials this prep. Showed speed and cruised away. Expecting a win this campaign after a winless prep last time in. |
| 3 | Media World | Stradbroke fringe runner. Travelled well and extended nicely to win under no pressure. Rarely runs a bad race. |
| 4 | Akaysha | 3yo filly who drifted back before finishing off nicely for third. Smart filly with a turn of foot. In for a good spring. |
| 10 | Generosity | Second trial for Chris Waller. Quokka placegetter moved very well and finished off strongly. Looks in great order. |
Trial 1 – Private Harry (1st)
Target – Everest
No surprise this star galloper ended up in the Blackbook. 5 from 5 and on his way to an Everest. He cruised around showing speed and was far too good. Everything you’d want to see first-up for a boom horse.
Trial 1 – Port Lockroy (4th)
Target – 1600m Group 1’s (Epsom, Toorak, Railway)
Group 1 Railway winner back in work. Different path this time compared to his Golden Eagle prep last spring. He looked balanced, found the line well, and is clearly on track for another big mile campaign.

3⃣ Coleman@ndoyleracing‘s #TABEverest second favourite continues his warm up to the $20m sprint with a trial win at Rosehill on Thursday. Others in the heat were Kovalica, Militarize, Athabascan and Port Lockroy. @tabcomau pic.twitter.com/yiylNRgP6s— Racing NSW (@racing_nsw) August 27, 2025
Trial 2 – Fire Star (1st)
Fire Star led this heat from start to finish and won by a margin, beating a nice type in Group 3 winner Memo. Went winless last prep but was Group 3 placed in the Ortensia at Scone. Two strong trial wins suggest he’s ready to fire, likely heading to a Benchmark 90 or Listed sprint.
Trial 3 – Media World (1st)
Media World travelled well in second over the 1030m but extended nicely to win under no pressure. Loved the way Koning fought back and Osipenko worked home. A 4yo with a strong career record, he rarely runs a bad race and looks in for a good campaign.
Trial 4 – Akaysha (3rd)
Akaysha, a 3yo daughter of Capitalist, has two placings and a win from three starts and was Listed placed last prep. This was her second trial back and she finished off strongly for third. She’s a smart filly with a nice turn of foot and looks set for a good spring.
Trial 10 – Generosity (2nd)
Generosity, a Quokka placegetter, was having her second trial for Chris Waller. Golden Straand, with race fitness, won this trial but Generosity moved very well and closed off strongly for Tommy Berry under minimal pressure. She hasn’t gone backwards in the new stable and looks in excellent order.
