Rail True and the rail out 6m on a drying surface. No surprise to see the track a little up and in but pays to monitor throughout the day.
Race 2 – 2:20PM DRINKWISE PLATE (1300 METRES)
Time for the 3YO’s over 1300m. No surprise to see Waller just put a line through his three drawn 10,11,13. And he’s still left with the three runners. Speed from 12 MIMBAI MAHARANI with 1 ABOVE THE LAW handy from 9.
We’re with the debutant here in #4 GRAFFITI TYCOON. This gelding has had two trials this campaign and looked smart in both, hitting the line smartly. Llyod sticks from barrier 7. They looked to be the ideal trials from a John O’Shea, Tom Charlton galloper and he looks set to run well on debut today. While there have been some deductions after scratchings, there has also been a little market support for him which is always a positive. Hard to beat on debut.
As mentioned, Waller scratched three and has three running. #6 MR MILLER does look the one we’re most scared of. Came from back in the field over 900m to win a Class 1 and Maiden trial at Rosehill on March 10, before having a typical poke around over 1030m on a Heavy track. McDonald sticks and draws inside.
Suggested Bet:
#4 GRAFFITI TYCOON (WIN)
