Heat 2 –2YO – Catchweight – 800m (47.94)

1st – 2y g IGNITION trained by P Richards

2nd – 2y f THRILL OF FLIGHT trained by S Autridge

3rd – 2y c TOP MARKS trained by Ritchie & Murray

Summary: “The Hello Youmzain gelding IGNITION improved in this his 2nd trial, showed a great action over the final furlong, long stride and uses all of himself, had no issues with track conditions and sure to be popular with agents and punters.”

Horse To Follow: 2y g IGNITION

Heat 4 – 2YO – Catchweight –800m (49.23)

1st – 2y f FORBIDDEN TREASURE trained by P Lock

2nd – 2y f LITTLE ORCHID trained by O’Sullivan & Scott

3rd – 2y f PALOMBAGGIA trained by B Kennedy

Summary: “Worth noting this trial was run in slow time relative to the day, still a very impressive effort from LITTLE ORCHID for Wexford stables. Travelled beautifully on the bridle for Warren Kennedy and the well-bred daughter of Hello Youmzain

Horse To Follow: 2y f LITTLE ORCHID

Heat 8 – MDN – Catchweight – 800m (49.80)

1st – 4y g REDNECK ROMEO trained by N Otto

2nd – 3y g GOLDEN POINT trained by A Johnson

3rd – 3y c KUSUDA RUSH trained by O’Sullivan & Scott

Summary: “Big trial from the 3rd placed KUSUDA RUSH held under a monkey grip up the straight and to the line, he brings excellent form lines into his second race preparation and is sure to be clearing maidens at short notice on the evidence of his two trials to date.”

Horse To Follow: 3y c KUSUDA RUSH

Heat 11 – OPEN – Catchweight – 1100m (1.08.27)

1st – 5y g TAKESHI trained by Walker & Tata

2nd – 4y m TWILIGHT TALE trained by A Forsman

3rd – 5y g OUR TIME trained by P Lock

Summary: “Expect this heat to produce winners, the well-exposed TAKESHI came from last and was ridden out to win the trial, interesting runner was TWILIGHT TALE a former West Australian now with Andrew Formsan, she looked forward and ready to go to the races for the new stable. Back in 3rd was OUR TIME lightly tried and with more wins in him. The best horse in the field was SWISS PRINCE a Group 2 winner last time in, the 3YO travelled smoothly back in 5th position and given a quiet time over the concluding stages.”

Horse To Follow: 4y m TWILIGHT TALE & 3y g SWISS PRINCE

Heat 12 – OPEN – Catchweight 1100m (1.06.60)

1st – 6y g REWARD SMILE trained by J Mahoney

2nd – 4y g TOP DOLLAR trained by Richie & Murray

3rd – 6y m CAITLYN’S WISH trained by S Autridge

Summary: “Easily the quickest of the 1100m heats and former HK galloper REWARD SMILE thrived in his preferred conditions, given a shake up late in the trial and quickened nicely on the heavy ground. The run on effort of TOP DOLLAR worth noting considering he has never faced a wet track on race-day and looked all at home on the surface hitting the line strongly in 2nd place, no match for the winner.”

Horse To Follow: 6y g REWARD SMILE & 4y g TOP DOLLAR
