THINKING OF GERTY resumes today and boasts an outstanding first-up record, having won all three of her previous first-up runs. She kicks this preparation off down in grade from where she finished last prep, which suits. From barrier four she maps well, with speed drawn outside her, allowing her to potentially take a sit just off the pace in a soft position. She looks very well set up.

She maps to take up a positive position in the run and is adaptable on both soft and good ground, which should see her very competitive again.
