Summary of best bets:

Best bet: Race 4 No.8 Pacific Glamour

Next best: race 8 No.5 Al Prancer

Turf talk:

  • Track is currently rated at a good, clear conditions are expected so suggest the rating will remain through the meeting
  • The rail goes out from the previous meeting for cup day and will be +6m the entire
  • Generally a track where it is a slight advantage to settle on speed given the tight turn coming into the home straight

Key stats:

  • Reece Goodwin brings 4 runners to this meeting and has previously had good success at this track, he boasts a winning strike rate of 15.8% here with a POT of +41.2%

Race 4

(8) Pacific Glamour

(6) Blackberry Bomb

(1) Condor

(5) Pocket Size

PACIFIC GLAMOUR was a super will in wet conditions 1st up at Ballarat to break her maiden. She ran some of the fastest closing sectionals of the entire meeting and won in strong fashion. She will need to be as good here to be winning again while rising in grade, but she maps well from the inside in a race that should be run quickly so expect here to be around the mark

Suggested Bet – (8) Pacific Glamour (Win)

Race 8:

(5) Al Prancer

(7) Regal Tycoon

(3) Matawai

(8) Wolf Twenty One

Al PRANCER looks to be in career best for currently having won two of his previous three starts and having never been beaten over the 1300m distance. He looks well placed in the dry conditions on his home track

Suggested Bet – (5) Al Prancer (Win)
