Keen to bet into this race. I Am Carrot did a great job first up when gelded, the 1100m and sit-and-sprint nature of the contest behind a smart Jarrito wasn’t suited, he stuck on gamely and now looks very well placed second up rising to 1350m on the home deck. Lune D’Excellence should get a gun run on the leader’s back, she’ll need a good ride to pop off the fence but is the danger. The stablemate Rustemo needs a good ride from the draw, the small field will aid that though. Heraion is next best.

Race 5
Intriguing contest. Sapling has caught my eye at the trials and does bring smart formlines from her debut prep. Now under the guidance of Nacim Dilmi she looks to be going very well, she will need to be at her best to win this but maps to get every chance from the draw. Columbia Blue brings the best figures and formlines but does look very short. Obviously the horse to beat. Myriad put up a strong figure first up when gelded, can improve further. The speedy Harlex rounds out the numbers.
