Horses To Follow
Race 2 (1200m BM74)- #2 Fast Bubbles
Fast Bubbles was first-up in this prep and resumed with an ultra-impressive win. On WFA figures he has kicked off here with a career peak performance and in previous preparations he has either held his rating from his 1st up run or found improvement, so keen to follow where he goes next when fitter 2nd up. This race did set up well for him with the leaders going along at a fast tempo allowing Fast Bubbles to get a perfect sit and he has produced the 3rd fastest L600m of the meeting. He looks well set up for a big 2nd up run.
Race 7 (1200m 0-66) #2 Ronny Bee
Ronny Bee was making his debut in this new region today having started his career in NSW. Before a spell he was the winner of the Grafton Guineas over the 1600m trip which suggested this 1200m trip may not quite be his perfect set up. Despite this, he was well supported jumping at $8 after opening at $20. He hit the line impressively peeling off the fastest L600m of the meeting which does suggest his best is yet to come over a longer trip later this preparation and a win looks likely soon if he remains in this grade.

Jump Out #3 – Ramasis
Ramasis is a 3YO colt who is yet to make a race debut. He went to the 2YO trials back in June where he did look quite green in the straight not wanting to go past runners and was slow away at the jump. He has been given some more time and this is the first time I have seen him again and he looked like a completely different horse. He jumped away quickly from the barriers and showed good natural speed to lead this jump out all the way with little pressure, expect he will be making a debut soon.
