Race 5 – 2:47PM Sportsbet Cinderella Stakes (1050 METRES)
This race looks to be dominated by those at the top of the market with the favourite #1 REBEL TUESDAY an impressive winner last start and #2 LA GITANA bringing the Blue Diamond form into this via its run behind Big Sky last start.
The other in the market is the unraced #9 NEVER ORDINARY and she is the one that we want to side with. She has had two jump outs this time in and she impressed in both before trialling at Morphettville on the 12th of February over 800m. She flew the lids on that occasion and landed a length and a half in front, travelled well, wobbled a bit around the corner before she absolutely put them away upon straightening under no pressure. I accept that she has the race experience disadvantage and did look green in her first official trial, but she has the action of a very good horse and at $4.20 she is a bet. She draws 1 for Rochelle Milnes and if she steps as she did in her trial, I suspect they are going to have a hard time catching her.
Hard to split #1 REBEL TUESDAY and #2 LA GITANA for the biggest danger. La Gitana had trialled very well prior to her debut, and she ran well despite being no match for Big Sky, which is no disgrace. She should press forward from gate 7 and have her chance to win and will no doubt improve at her second race outing. Leaning towards her as the main danger. Gate 2 looks a bit tricky for Rebel Tuesday if she wants to get back in the field again as she did first-up. Her trial leading into that run was good and she won with some style and authority. Just needs to get out clean and take up a prominent spot to be winning.

Have to be with #9 NEVER ORDINARY and accept she may still be green/raw. Think she is very smart.
