Solid edition of the Racing NSW Provincial-Midway Championship Qualifier. I can’t go past the progressive (4) Buffalo here, first up 1400m suits him down to the ground. He looked smart in a recent 1200m trial win where he had the blinkers on, he keeps them on for race day and is the horse to beat. (2) Midnight Opal comes through that same trial and was doing his best work late, tuned up off a freshen and goes right in the mix from gate 4. (1) Lord Of Biscay draws out but has trialled up strongly leading into this and does have a sharp fresh record. (3) Cryptonic and (12) Oakfield Jupiter both go in the mix from smart draws and both can improve fitness wise.
