Heat 2 – Mytemptation (1st)
Time was solid. Mytemptation jumped well, found the front and controlled the heat. He wasn’t asked for much effort over the concluding stages whilst the two horses chasing him were being pushed along. Liked his work past the post, too. Enver Jusufovic is a trainer you can back with confidence early in a campaign and this bloke is two-from-two fresh. Sharp bit of work from a handy galloper.
Heat 3 – Intimeofneed (2nd)
Reckon this mare is flying. She jumped-out well a fortnight prior and her work at Cranbourne on Monday was excellent. She was no match for King West who won the heat, but that galloper was pushed out, whereas Intimeofneed was allowed to coast to the post, taking good late ground off the leader. She is a 61-rater who can resume in an 1100/1200m BM62 and prove mighty hard to beat.
Heat 4 – Tennessee Bound (1st)
An unraced 4YO mare that has clearly taken some time to get to the sports. She jumped evenly, but quickly mustered speed off the inside to lead. She kicked away under light riding in the straight, posting reasonable time and doing so with plenty in hand. She wasn’t pulling up on the line, either, she remined well in front of her rivals for two furlong past the post. She jumped-out nicely last campaign and looks to have only improved as she nears her racetrack debut – where she goes, she will prove hard to beat.
Heat 7 – Kippis (1st)
Kippis has had two jump-outs and looks ready to debut. I blackbooked her off her first jump-out on September 15 where she settled in behind them before never getting a cracking at them in finishing sixth. Her work through the post there was excellent. She went forward in this heat and won it under very light riding. She looks a professional filly who has shown an ability to quicken – keen to follow her into her debut. Espana and Castellito both worked home well.
