Really keen on #2 AIRMAN and think he is absolutely flying. Trials this time in have been superb. Accepted and scratched and then back to the trials on September 2nd where he trialled smartly again, every bit as good as Joliestar and Stefi Magnetica. Comes here to a track and trip he’s won at previously, from a lovely barrier, with McDonald on. $8.50 and $2.70 looks exceptional value. Rated favourite.
The other roughie we don’t mind is #6 GIVEMETHEBEATBOYS – Gelded. Synthetic Hoof Filler off first time. Two nice trials – second behind AIRMAN when moving well latest. Has ability. Like the stable fresh. Big price.
#10 MEDIA WORLD another at value. Has upside as a 4YO. Yulong winning everything at the moment and this guy has residual fitness from a 2nd placing in Queensland in June in a Group 2. Good career record, nice trial leading in, looking very sharp.
#1 TUVALU trialled fine leading in. Second to Catoggio.
#5 STAR PATROL is a track and distance specialist with 3 wins from 7 starts. Tieback surgery leading in which could spark improvement. Has a chance.
As you can probably tell we are against #4 ARKANSAW KID and #11 ROYAL INSIGNIA at the prices. Both under $5 seems ridiculously short. Can no doubt win but they are very short and it opens up some betting opportunities around them.
