Summary of best bets:
Race 6 No.8 Lario (Value) – Goes well fresh and gets an ideal race map to find a position
Race 7 No.10 She’s My Ex (Best) – Resuming as a 3YO having showed talent last prep
Turf Talk:
- The track is rated a Good 4 to kick off this meeting and with warm conditions forecast the track should remain at this rating with a slight chance of an upgrade
- The rail will return to the True position for the first time since mid-October
- Expecting with these track conditions it should be quite fair with all runners getting their chance if good enough
Stats:
- Damien Thornton has a strong book of rides here today and has ridden well at this Seymour track previously with a winning strike rate of 17.7% at a POT of +58.9%
Race 6
Looks like good odds for the resuming LARIO here in an open race today. He kicks off this prep down in grade from what he was contesting last prep and looks likely to be suited with this race map from a low barrier where he can push up and find a forward position quickly from that position. He has a good record 1st up and has been trialling well in the lead up to this so expecting he can fire fresh.
(8) Lario
(15) Les Braves
(13) Olivia Rose
(11) Twisted Queen
Suggested bet: (8) Lario (Win)
Race 7
SHE’S MY EX resumes here for her first race in her 3YO season. She showed good talent when winning on debut before getting little luck next start in a stronger race. What she showed in her 2YO season does suggest she is capable of rising through the grades and this kick off in a BM62 looks a suitable level. Feel her main danger will be NO LIMITATION who she did beat home when they met last season and NO LIMITATION does look to settle forwards here, could be worth a saver if the track is showing signs of favouring on speed types.

Suggested bet: (10) She’s My Ex (Win)
